Using slow camera movement in 20 minutes in five video scenes of completely CGI-rendered environment called Area of Universal Latency, I am mapping space-time of the zone which is located in the north-western Slovakia. Minimalistic narration of the autonomous single-channel video projection is confronting subjectivism with universality of the Anthropocene, vanitas and spirituality with the belief of consumerism in infinite accumulation and simulacra of virtuality with the absolute truth. The story of this video-poem is communicated through virtual environment, composed sounds and natural noises. This thesis is presenting a fragment of my attempt to record the morphology of the specific place through which, as the title of the video states, I am indicating the state of reality and its consequences yet not describing it explicitly.
Adaptive CAD systems for modelling of electrical machines
Kancir, Andrej ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
This semestral project deals with creation of an animation of a claw-pole alternator with application of new possibilities in the 3D Studio MAX 9. The first part contains the overview of new functions in 3D Studio MAX 9 software. The second part describes procedure of importing claw-pole alternator`s rotor into a scene, materials application and setting of lighting. The third part is concerned with the animation of the claw-pole alternator model, with renderer modifications, rendering of the scene using another computer connected to the network and with creation of the video file from rendered frames.
3D Scene Composition with Open-Source Tools
Vašák, Petr ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The work deals with the creation of complex 3D scenes using open-source tools. It describes how to create 3D models, adjustments to the scene and subsequent transfer to renderer program PovRay, where with the help of regulation code and adding features created by the resulting image. The aim is to render scene with Ray-tracing method.
Tvorba fotorealistických V-Ray materiálů a jejich aplikace v programu 3Ds Max
Kramárik, Jakub
The thesis deals with introduction of V-Ray material properties and their production. By means of these materials it is possible to create physically accurate photorealistic surfaces of objects in visualisations in Autodesk 3Ds Max program. In the first part are described the characteristics of different surfaces and their optical properties depending on the impact of light. In this part are also analysed all V-Ray materials and their properties related specifically to visualisations of interiors. The thesis also deals with the issues of mapping onto objects and HDRI mapping. In the practical part the thesis pursues creating complex photorealistic V-Ray materials and their application on objects. In this part a tutorial for creating your own textures in grid editor is also made. In conjunction with created materials, these textures are used in a sample interior visualisation.

Microscopic analyses of sgraffito sampled from house façade in Brno, Venhudova street, CR
Slížková, Zuzana ; Kozlovcev, Petr ; Koudelková, Veronika ; Novák, Vladimír
Report presents results of microscopic characterization of sgraffito from the the fifties of the twentieth century sampled from house façade in Brno, Venhudova street, CR. Light (optical) microscopy and electron microscopy SEM-EDS were used for characterization of the aggregate and the binder of two layers of sgraffito.

Optimalizace externího rendrovacího systému V-Ray v programu Autodesk 3DS Max
Kramárik, Jakub
The bachelor thesis deals with the detailed introduction of the external rendering system V-Ray and its optimized settings in the programme Autodesk 3ds Max. The first part of thesis describes important function and properties of the rendering editor, lights, cameras and materials in the system V-Ray for the ideal output during the 3D visualization making. The thesis also contains suggested value setting of each function for the ideal output. The second part includes the example description of the interior visualization in the 3ds Max programme with the application of the external render, including the postproduction in the raster graphic editor.
